Client’s Problem: New World Builders Ltd got in touch with us as they were looking for a local road marking contractor in Newcastle upon Tyne to do some line painting on a refurbishment project at Safestore Self Storage in the centre of Newcastle. We met the client on site, ran through the requirements and provided a quotation which they were happy to proceed with. The line painting work needed to take place the following week as this was when the site would be ready for us but the lining needed to be complete in a couple of days in time for the client’s project handover.

Our Solution: The white lining work took place on the agreed days and was complete in time for the client’s handover. The job involved car park line markings, disabled parking bay markings, give way junction road markings and yellow cross hatched keep clear line markings. All road markings were complete using thermoplastic screed to a mixture of tarmac and concrete surfaced. For the lines laid on the concrete areas, all lines were primed first using a concrete primer which is essential for ensuring good adhesion of the line marking material to the concrete. As you can see from the photos, our road marking operatives left a very neat and professional job, within the client’s tight deadline.
