Client’s Problem: Lehmann’s contacted us as they were looking for a local road marking contractor in Newcastle upon Tyne to carry out some line painting work at their unit in Jarrow, South Tyneside. They had received a routine health & safety audit and had been advised that they needed line markings for several things - to designate at least one parking bay as disabled only; to make it clear that the areas in front of two roller shutter doors should be kept clear and also to highlight the steps at the entrance.

Our Solution: We visited the site and met Solomon who explained what they were looking to achieve. We offered advice on the best car parking bay line marking layout, suggested that we would paint “KEEP CLEAR” in large yellow lettering in front of both the roller shutter doors and also that we would paint the steps yellow to highlight them clearly. The client was happy with our price and line painting proposal so the work took place on a pre-arranged date that suited them best.

The new line markings clearly inform people where they should, and should not, park their vehicles. The new keep clear markings make it obvious to people not to leave their vehicles obstructing access to and from the warehouse so that deliveries run smoothly whilst also minimizing the risk of collision accidents
